guess where i am blogging from..
I am blogging from the mushroom room in the Art room..sneaky sneaky. i anticipated that i'd be idol fer a while cos poor ms hew is sickii and on MC. so i'm all alone, by my lonesome..no lessons until 1230. THus! i brought my laptop and woohoo! i am able to connect it to the internet. hehe. so slackerish. i feel so bad. but i really have nothing to do le...shall just sit around and think bout the J1s' UOB..
Yesterday went to watch 'Becoming Jane' at cine. another P&P like film. so if u liked P&P, u'd love this too, even though i think this one is a lot more difficult to understand. They're using early modern english according to my bro. but u get the gist of it la. super nice, and super sad also. oh well. =) that's a good film. =D Then mama and papa came down to cine also to have dinner with me. sara joined. ate at that tepanyaki place on the 4th floor. dad says all the food tastes the same. *shrugs. i like it. =P
and i'm blind.

i got no photos again..STUPID GOR! FASTER COME BACK FROM EUROPE! STEALER OF CAMERAS!!!! he smses like everyday to tell us where he is. he like enters a new city every single day, always on the move. Today he's in florence.
Thursday
went out with sara and janice in the afternoon to vivocity to do major spending. you can't imagine how much i've spent over the past few months. i wouldn't dare tell u anyway. it's TOO MUCH. that's all u need to noe.

Anyway, after vivo went to amk to meet shangyi, seow ling, xian min, xinli and MS HEW!!!! to go to the night safari to see Mer Hung and to sit her tram. oh man, it's damn fun going places of interest in Singapore..makes u feel like a tourist. next mission >> zoo and birdpark. =D we went to ULU ULU restaurant (name damn funny) to eat giant stingray. mei hung went to flash her badge so we could get 50% off! woohoo! so $17 stingray bacame $8.50! Ms hew paid fer our dinner..heehee, but we made up fer it by buying her drink and souvenir photographs..so she'll NEVER forget us.
sat tram then went fer the night sfari show then went on the fishing cat trail, until late late in the night b4 we started worrying bout how we were going to get home. ended up taking cab back from amk. cos no more last bus. =( $8 plus cab ride lor..can u imagine. so ex. but nvm. twas a GREAT great day. =P

today twas my first day working at NYJC.
it was strange
and scary.
but i hope i get the hang of it.
it's not like working at OPSS at all. small class, one on one tutorials, very guai, very quiet. good bunch of kids. but they're so much older, and i feel so young next to them. too young maybe. i still face challenges, though, their a totally different set of challenges in comparison to Sec school woes. i must seriously get the hang of it. relax and chill...be confident of myself and hopefully, i will be able to help them. =)
help them or make a fool out of myself.

i seem to updating less and less
anyway, the latest news is that i have completed my submission for UCAS to Goldsmiths, and my application is finally on its way. i've also completed doing up my portfolio, write-ups and everything, it's in the envelope, addressed and tomoro it too shall be on its way. after that..i just have to get through interviews..and either acceptance or rejection, joy or sorrow, singapore or london...
ANYHOO, there's been a lot of activity the past few days, my parents starting to complain that i go out too much. and i always tell them, i must go out before i can't go out anymore!!! yea..but my damnit camera is with my poopoohead brother in europe...he stole it..the shithead, so all the activity and i din get to take any pictures. so gotta steal from other ppl. poop.
Friday
after good friday church service, i went to meet Liwen to help her do her ADM video. Then met shangyi and seow ling and Vivo to go visit KY and Cheng and some other ppl at Palawan in Sentosa. Sat with them a while, witnessed loversss quarrel. WAHAHA..THEN we went off back to Vivo tp meet Huay Han and Xinli for dinner at Marche. then sat on Vivo roof fer quite a while, enjoying scenery b4 i headed to 0603 class bbq to see tze, po and joani for a very short while b4 finally headin home. reached home round 12. =) so eventful! so no time to go into details.
Saturday
Met Seow Ling and Shangyi at SPH b4 heading to East Coast Park. Shang had to do an interview with some kid so we pei her go cos ECP rocks. ya. so while wating, me and SL picniced on some very soft grass..smelt shit nearby..then it started to pour on our picnic..so we took shelter at the cafe where we sat down for dunno how many hours..SL finished watching JUNO on my ipod by the time we could leave. haha. Then we walked walked walked, ate dinner, and went home. SO NICE HANGING OUT WITH THEM...super crappy and fun. looking forward to London with them. =)

i've got a big hole in my head.
a big bleedin hole...
went back to NY today with the intention of collecting my reference from mrs ng, to settle admin about my new job, and to sit in fer the J1s tutorial - to familiarise myself with their work. ya...but in the end mrs ng hadn't finished my referal..cos she's super bz..haish. and they shocked me with a surprise visit to mr nathan who wanted to make sure i was worthy to relief teach there. it's so damn weird going into the HOD room and sitting in front of mr nathan with mrs ng...so so so super weird...YA! then Mrs Ng surprised me AGAiN when she said that i would be starting on MOndAy already..when i thought it was in APril..haish...got a shock AGAIN in front of Mr nathan. HAISH! but it's ok. i'm enthu.
so then i sat in fer J1 tutorial and learnt about their UOB works..i have work to do. must think of ideas fer them in case they come to me and 'i stare at you, you stare at me'. bleah. not too bad, i think i'll be able to handle it. =) then as usual when talk to the teachers always end up laughing non stop, i was smiling and laughing the whole time, my jaw was literally aching. =) good times. i'm really glad to have the opportunity ta work in NY! I'M SO DAMN LUCKY!!! really hope i will do a good job. =D HEEEEEEEEX!

yes. it's been quite a while since i've blogged. to me anyway. just to update, i've been busy applying to Universities and scholarships over the past week, writing essays and filling in forms. i just submitted my moe scholarship application yesterday actually. FINALLY got down to doing my personal statement and after letting it be vetted by a lot a lot of ppl, i sent it in. now have to work on my UCAS application to goldsmith and slade. Did u noe, that even if we submit now, like a week after A level results, we would actually be counted as late applicants in the UK. that really sucks...but shall try to apply as much as i can none the less.

today went down to British Council with shang, sL and xinli to try and clarify our doubts about application, but it wasn't really of much help la. the guy told us to check with the admissions ppl from the Uni itself. so useless. more work fer me to do...after that went to Plaza Sing to mope around...tomoro meeting shang and sL again fer lunch then going to sL's house to play (like primary school liddat).
anyway.
on a more exciting note...
i decided to treat myself to a little present.
which so happened to burn a gigantic hole in my pocket.

we went to xinli's ulu little house on sunday!
it was super ulu.
okok. it was beside the main road, the highway more like.
but it was still knda ulu.
beside a grave yard and all the stones were staring.
anyway. XINLI IS AN AWESOME CHEF!
he made alfredo spaghetti for us,

speaking of london. i have so many things to do. applications to Universities and scholarships, personal statements! so frustrating trying to write the BEST piece of writing ever! cos it has to be the BEST if i wanna get even shortlisted. omg. plus so many dealines to meet i'm so stressed even when i'm not working. but if everything goes smoothly, i'll be sailing of to london in september. =) can't wait.

went for NTU open house today.stayed fer like half an hour only cos there wasn't much that we hadn't seen b4.not so enthu bout going NTU anyway, though i just might have to if i can't get the moe scholarship.but i'm NOT going to ADM.probably to arts and social science.went to Seow Ling's house after that with shangyi.ordered PIZZA to eat! yum yum.then we researched on UK universities together.YAY!!!! FINALLY GOT PPL SERIOSULY CONSIDERING GOING UK WITH ME!but our courses all in different colleges, though all part of university of london.shang wants to take media studies.Seow wants Law.and i want Fine arts.we were like looking at maps of london to see how far apart our campuses would be.not too bad la.all around central london.we would get our own apartment!!!shang cooks.i wash clothes.Seow CLEAN TOILET!!so excitin please!!!!!!

i shall try not to think about results day. cos if i do think bout it, i noe i'll go absolutely out of my mind.
went back to OPSS at noon to sign some stuff at the office. at the same time to visit dear beryl and yuting and mebe to catch a glimpse of some of my students. Yuting and the other teacher seem to be doing very well and things look much more organised and neat in comparison to when i was there. haish. i guess i left a mess fer them to clean up..haish. got me thinking once again if teaching is really really something that i wanna do fer at least 6 years of my life, if i get the scholarship. but then again, it's the only way i'm gonna get to study fine arts overseas, if not it's adm or something else which i really am not that excited bout. mebe i should try again, in a different school or somethin, or go back to OPSS in April (and mess up what yuting has done there? haish)
i feel incompetent.
anyway. went to eat lunch with beryl at swensens b4 going down to city hall to buy my 'little black dress' from zara. went to Bugis next to meet Heather and walk on Bugis street, then went to clark quay central to shop some more. haha. was great hanging out with them. so glad to have made new friends like them. =) though they like to gang up on me to annoy me. inoe how janice feels now. lol.
i think i spent a bomb today. the dress, then a necklace, then a belt and then a hair clip thing. i think i spent like at least $100, probably more. i need to save cos i feel poor now that i'm not working.
